If I make the team, how much would I have to pay in fees?
Team fees depend on the team, but the cost for a team with up to 12 players on the roster is projected to be $3200-3500 per player for the 2025/26 indoor season. This includes registration with Calgary Spartans, Volleyball Alberta (VA), Volleyball Canada, coaches’ honorarium, essential team apparel/uniform offering, practice fees, equipment, club administration, and registration for all VA tournaments offered in a team’s age category, including the provincial championships. In addition to the core volleyball components, this season's fees will also include access to mental performance consultation resources and sessions, along with performance lab testing to support athlete development and well-being.
The team fee will also cover the registration fee for the 2025-26 Volleyball Canada Nationals competition. However, it does not cover the travel and accommodation costs to attend the event.
Parents and athletes can anticipate extra costs, including accommodation and travel expenses to out-of-town tournaments, food costs, and registration in non-VA tournaments.

I may have problems paying my fees in one lump sum. Can I make different payment arrangements?
I am working on finding the best prices in the city. With many facilities already partnered with club teams, finding venues has been challenging. I will try to find a price point that is similar to or less than those of some of the other clubs in the Calgary area. Payment plans are available in up to three installments.
Several organizations can offer financial assistance to families having difficulties to cover fees and costs associated with participation in youth sports, including the following:
