18U Boys Fall Tryouts

For the 2024-2025 season, Volleyball AB has set the following age categories:

• 18U: Athletes born between September 1, 2005, and December 31, 2006
• 17U: Athletes born between September 1, 2006, and December 31, 2007
• 16U: Athletes born between September 1, 2007, and December 31, 2008

If your child was born between September 1 and December 31, they have the option to "play down" to a younger age division. Those who choose to "play down" can only participate in Provincials and Nationals within that age category. To be eligible, athletes must register, pay for, and attend tryouts for both their correct age level and the lower age level.

All athletes MUST register to the "2025 Youth Development Player - Tryout" on the Volleyball Alberta website. Please follow this link for instructions on how to register: Youth Player Registration Guide. You will need to bring a copy and present it to the Coaches/Admin staff at the tryouts.

• Session 1 – Sunday, September 8th 2-4 PM @ West Island College
• Session 2 – Monday, September 9th 7-9 PM @ West Island College
• Session 3 - INVITE ONLY: September 11th 7:30-9:30 PM @ West Island College

* Tryout fee is $30.00 - payment in person cash, card (additional fees apply) or e-transfer. 

* Fee must accompany registration, or your spot will not be held

* Please sign up for ONLY ONE SESSION (both dates are included)
