For the 2024-2025 season, Volleyball AB has set the following age categories:
18U: Athletes born between September 1, 2005, and December 31, 2006
17U: Athletes born between September 1, 2006, and December 31, 2007
16U: Athletes born between September 1, 2007, and December 31, 2008
If your child was born between September 1 and December 31, they have the option to "play down" to a younger age division. Those who choose to "play down" can only participate in Provincials and Nationals within that age category. To be eligible, athletes must register, pay for, and attend tryouts for both their correct age level and the lower age level.
